Flew the Coop

I left North Carolina this morning at about 10:45. We got into LaGuardia at around noon, and were met with torrential downpours. Of course, the plane I was on wasn’t big enough to be pulled up directly to the tunnel thing so I had to go outside in the drowning rain to get to the terminal. I was drenched… and spent the rest of the afternoon that way. The flight to Rochester was dreadful; there was turbulance and once again I was on a prop plane. *sigh* Long and miserable day.

Leaving gets more difficult every time. I did not want to come home, and now that I’m here all I want to do is go back to North Carolina.

Hopefully I will hear a final word on the salary for the middle school job this week. I need to know one way or the other at this point… and all I can do is hope for good news.

In any case… I’m home safely after three wonderful weeks with Jake. Hopefully my next trip down there will involve a Uhaul.
