Fadedwords

I got a phone call from Betty, the Human Resources Director with Washington County Schools today. She told me that the state of North Carolina has approved me for three years of experience, which means that the salary will be enough for me to afford living in North Carolina. This means I can officially accept the position as a Middle School Counselor.
This is outstanding news, and I can’t begin to explain my excitement. I will be writing my official letter of resignation from this job and will be moving by July 15th. I have a lot of packing to do, and I’ll need to get boxes and bins, and arrange for a Uhaul.

Jake is on apartment finding detail… or house finding detail. I have a call in to the HR director to see if she knows any realtors down there.

Life is coming together. I couldn’t be happier.
