Merlin is a Puppy School Graduate!!

We were still figuring out mortarboard placement in this photo.

A little cocked to the side, but a-ok.

It was a great deal of fun tonight. There was a test, which Merlin passed. Then we did the silliness with the mortarboard, but it was very funny and Merlin was quite proud of himself.

He got a new ball as a graduation present, and he’s been playing with it non-stop since I took it out.

We will join an intermediate class as soon as life settles down a little.

Let me just go record as saying how glad I am that I am dating, and will one day marry, a wonderful man. A man that would never in a million years treat me badly, lie to me… and most importantly would never cheat on me.

I understand that some people just aren’t wired for a committed, monogamous relationship. That’s between them and their boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife. I’m just incredibly thankful that I’m no longer dating one of those men… and I feel a deep sense of sadness for those who are.

In other news? Good things are still in the works. Thursday is our last day of school until the 16th. Sunday is Easter, my most favorite holiday (ps- someone better send me Easter Bunny goodness… to Jake’s apartment!). The rest of Spring Vacation will be spent cooking, baking, relaxing, taking walks with my dog, planning, job hunting, aaaaand hopefully receiving multiple gifts for my upcoming birthday. (pps- visit my wishlist and send me many presents to show me how much you love me!!). Then on Sunday I hope that there will be some sort of festivity that may include a cake and ice cream… although maybe Saturday would be better since I have to drive home on Sunday.

In any case. Randomness abound tonight.

This past weekend was a beautiful weekend. I have a loving boyfriend who helped take care of me and my back (ice packs and heating pads are gifts from the gods). I was able to relax. I spent time with Tim and his lovely family.
