NC State Fair
Last year Jake and I attempted to go to the NC State Fair. We foolishly tried to go on a weekend… Saturday in fact. It was absolutely insane that day. There were so many people that we couldn’t move around. We stayed all of 25 minutes before giving up, vowing to come back “next year” on a week day to see if it was better.
Today we kept that promise. I took part of the day off for a doctor’s appointment (yay thyroid health), so we decided to both take the whole day in order to spend part of it at the fair. It was a great decision. It wasn’t over-crowded. We got our caricature done (something I really wanted to do last year). We ate all the bad-for-you food you’re expected to eat at the fair. We took tons of pictures… which you can see HERE. It was an incredibly enjoyable day.

glad you had a good time. was it just an agricultural fair or were there rides etc. there also? It’s been so many years since I’ve been to a state fair I can’t remember what they are like. Love and miss you both!! kisses and hugs!!
