Coming Down
It’s strange, after a period of whirlwind busyness at a job, the down time after. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing… just that it’s strange to have time to play catch-up on the things that got left by the wayside in the shadow of “much more important business.”
Today is full of a lot of down time. I’m thankful in some respects; it gives me a chance to file papers, fax people that should’ve been faxed, and get ready for the upcoming 4th grade writing exam. But mainly I’m just wishing I had more to occupy my mind today. It’s funny how on days you need something to distract you, there’s not a damn thing around to do it.
