Books

I was inspired by Beth over at So the Fish Said to think about the books that I’ve read in recent years.  I agree with her that it is a really interesting way to look back at your life and remember certain events.  I have posted my own Book List this morning, as I was stuck in my office waiting for grades 3-5 to finish with quarterly assessments.  So far I’ve just done what I can remember reading since 2000, which is the year I graduated from high school.  I plan to look over my bookshelves tonight when I get home and update the list, and will also try to take an inventory of my bookshelves in New York when I go up this summer.  The list will change as I read more and remember more.

This exercise has got me thinking and wondering though: what are you reading?  What have you read that has really impacted you?  What are your favorites?

something that i read every few years - and it never gets old - Triumph Over Tragedy by Bobby Petrocelli. He came and spoke to our High School (long time ago now) and I have read it numerous times. It provides numerous life lessons that can apply to the simplest and most difficult things in life : )

and of course i did enjoy the Harry Potter series which I read the entire thing June 2007 - December 2007
