- A combination of far too much on your mind and the first night in a hotel never adds up to good things.
- I slept maybe 2 hours last night… although I think it was more like one.
- I woke up feeling sick, which is fairly typical these days. I think this goes back to aforementioned too much on my mind.
- I added a NaNo widget to my sidebar that shows my word count. I’m up to 10,000 words.
- This astonishes me because I really have no clue where this story is taking me. I’m just writing.
- I’m excited that the hotel has a fitness room; I plan to make very good use of it over the next few days.
- I’m working hard to stay on track with WW, even though my food options are limited while I’m here.
- I got a WW monthly pass, and I’m really liking the eTools.
- Registration starts at noon today for the conference, and I’m kind of dreading the whole process. There were lots of mix ups and I’m having to go through a whole hassle to get signed up.
- I am incredibly, incredibly glad that Obama was elected. I don’t get into politics much here, but I am very glad that this country made the wonderful choice that it did. It makes me proud.
- I’m going to try to focus on getting to 15,000 words today in NaNo.
- This will keep my mind off of other things.

Shit, I leave for a week and you’ve joined NaNo AND written 10,000 words??? Wow!!
I hope you let someone read it, you know, someone that you can email anytime you want
Sorry that you have so much on your mind
I’m here if YOU want to talk - thanks for the email by the way, I’m good - I’ll explain tomorrow (I just got home a few hours ago), but if you want to vent feel free!

I too am proud of my country, proud that we stepped up to the plate, voted, and elected a good, competent, rationale leader who knows how to think on his feet, and speak proper English!
