Disney June 26th
Friday was our last day to enjoy the parks and have some Disney adventures. Bethany and I decided to spend the morning exploring Epcot, which hadn’t done all week. We had a fantastic time, despite the fact that it was incredibly hot out.
When I went to Disney the first time, we just walked around the outside of the World Tour in Epcot. I never realized how much there was to see in each country. There was a ton to explore and to do. I even got to meet a very handsome gentleman…
When we were done with Epcot we went back to the hotel and were rather excited when we saw my father at the concierge desk. We’d been trying to figure out how to get him there, because it was his birthday and we wanted to make sure he got a birthday button and the only way was for him to be present!
He liked it a lot.
We had dinner that night at one of the other hotels in Disney. It was an absolutely amazing place, and the food was fantastic too. The best part of the night was celebrating Dad’s birthday. I had made sure to get him a very special, magical gift….
His ears (as well as the ones I have) are embroidered with his name.
His had the added fun of a Happy Birthday patch.
It was an incredibly wonderful day.
You can see all of the photos HERE.
This trip to Disney was such an amazing experience. Seeing it with my family made it even more wonderful; I don’t get to spend a lot of time with them, and this was a truly beautiful and fantasic trip. It was made even more wonderful by having such great friend with me. Bethany stepped in and came along on this trip even though she didn’t know my family, and I can’t begin to thank her for that. I had such fun running around and seeing everything with her, acting like kids and enjoying this amazing place. It’ll be hard to surpass the fun and enjoyment on this trip.

It WAS truly amazing for us too. We can’t begin to tell you what it meant to have you there with us, especially since it was going to be the last time for a VERY long time that we can all get together, with Sean leaving for basic in January and all. And getting to meet and get to know one of your very good friends, was just an added plus. Bethany, you made the trip an adventure, if it wasn’t for you, we would have eaten at McDonald’s every night. You picked WONDERFUL places. Thanks, hon, for being there with us.
