(Im)Perfection
I’ve spent a lot of my life
at least the past few years
seraching and hoping to find
the person I wanted to trust without fear.
And I’ve thought and believed
that I was searching for the “perfect” guy.
I was wrong though;
it wasn’t perfection I wanted to find.
Because I’ve found a person who
embodies everything I’ve been looking for
and he’s not “perfect”
but his idiosyncrasies make me want more.
Finding “imperfection” right
is so very easy to do
beause imperfection is perfection
when I look at you.
