Woke up this morning
heavy heart in my chest
thinking of all I wouldn’t say
how I’d do my best.
But I didn’t

Caved in
before I’d even started
Every waking is
an end to when we parted

Just think about the stars
they’ll bring you through the night
leave you warm and smiling
and there’s nothing left to fight if

always come tumbling out
