Whole
I notice the sunshine more
since I opened my heart
to this man who loves completely
and has right from the start.
I smile more often
even when my day is bad
for I know I’ll get home
and he’ll be waiting to make me glad.
I work on myself now
the parts that need some help
things caused by years of pain…
I’m now unearthing myself.
I trust him completely
with my heart and with my soul
I never knew that love like this
could make a person whole.
